Hi this is Ryan with Screen Rant’s featured news of the day.

The Tomb Raider video game franchise made a comeback with a well-reviewed reboot in 2013 and a follow-up in 2015-- which certainly looked a lot better than the original games--

Now a Film reboot is in the works as well // and Star Wars leading lady Daisy Ridley has confirmed that she’s been in talks to potentially star in it.

Ridley mentioned to reporters at the 2016 Empire Awards that there “have been conversations” about her playing Lara Croft on the big screen.

She also emphasized that it’s still extremely early on in the process and nothing is confirmed yet-- saying she hasn’t formally been offered the role and hasn’t actually seen a script--

Despite not confirming the casting, Daisy Ridley made it clear just how interested she is in playing the character-- saying “I’m waiting for someone to say “I want you, let’s do it.”’ -- Mmmyeah.. Aren’t we all.

One of the main concerns about Ridley potentially starring in Tomb Raider is that with her not only having to shoot the next two Star Wars films but also promote them, it might be difficult to fit the project into her schedule.
